We booked the Plantation House for a 3 day visit to the Mornington Peninsula. We were greeted on arrival by Charles and shown our room and where we could find basically everything we would need for a comfortable stay. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We chose the New Havana room which had its own sitting area. The B&B felt more like a small boutique hotel. The rooms are separated from the owners section and were totally self contained. There was plunger coffee and a large selection of fine teas, biscuits and fruit on offer all day, and also sherry and port for the evenings. Charles cooked a great breakfast for us... there was a decent breakfast menu and I could not fault the hospitality. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Outstanding! We are well travelled and I have never written a review of any kind however I couldn't resist this one. The upper plantation room was outstanding and the owner of the business Charles was so helpful and friendly. The breakfast on both mornings was absolutely delicious with one guest stating enthusiastically that he should be on 'My Kitchen Rules'! I agreed wholeheartedly. If you want a truly enjoyable stay in Rye close to the hot springs then this is the place to be! DEFINITELY COMING BACK.
