This century old little brick and pressed tin cottage has been sensitively and lovingly restored while retaining a wonderful sense of a bygone era associated with historic Boconnoc Park, a modern day working farm of several thousand acres of cropping and award winning Merino sheep. Dwarfed by one of the state's largest Moreton Bay Fig trees, the cottage is in the gardens of Boconnoc Park Homestead. The lounge dining area has a lovely open fire, tartan couches and an original dining setting. There are plenty of interesting historic pictures and information about the cottage and Boconnoc Park. This pretty two bedroom heritage cottage with fabulous original pressed tin ceilings and walls sleeps up to 4 adults, so it's great for one to two couples.

Hire a bike and get ready for a day of adventure on the Riesling Trail, winding through the picturesque Clare Valley wine region for 35 kilometres from Auburn to Clare. The main bedroom has a king size bed that can be split into 2 single beds, while the second bedroom has a queen bed. There's a spacious fully equipped country kitchen and cosy open fire with wood supplied. Baltic pine floors create a warm ambience. The bathroom contains the original claw foot bath and there is reverse cycle airconditioning for year round comfort. Enjoy a wine on the shady verandah after a long day exploring the region. Generous provisions for a hearty country breakfast are provided, along with all linen for the bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen.

Wonderful house, beautifully restored! Well equipped with full kitchen facilities & utensils. Great place to explore the Clare Valley & so lovely to come back & light the fire. Fabulous attention to detail, nothing overlooked. And all in a gorgeous garden setting!
