We spent two nights in the Bridal Suite to celebrate our Anniversary and it was a wonderful experience staying in this beautiful old building. If you love old buildings with history, romance of days gone by, but with all modern conveniences, this is the place for you. Sonia and Mark are perfect hosts and make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Breakfasts were delicious and we stayed for the High Tea Morning Tea on the Sunday which was one of the best we have experienced. Thank you Sonia and Mark for making our weekend such a memorable time.

I would like to take this opportunity to make a special mention to Mark and Sonia at the Abbey of the Roses for making our wedding day the best ever! If you are considering somewhere special to get married, do you want a private, personal, intimate wedding, then look no further than the Abbey of the Roses Warwick Queensland. We recently ELOPED to the Abbey and loved every moment, from the accommodation, meals and much more it was top quality, we were made to feel at home, relaxed, a great place to stay. Thank-you for making our stay special and memorable, look forward to our next stay to celebrate our first wedding anniversary.

We only stayed the one night, but what a wonderful experience. Mark, Sonia & Basil were wonderful hosts. We were lucky enough to have booked after a wedding party had left, so we got to stay in the bridal suite. The food was exceptional. To wake in the morning with those wonderful leadlight windows in a four poster bed was certainly an experience. It was wonderful hearing how Mark and Sonia came about acquiring this piece of Queensland history, you can see and feel the history in the Gardens when you look at how old some of these trees are. The only downfall was that we didn't stay longer. Be prepared to have a chat with Basil the Abbey cat, he's very talkative.
