Designed just for couples seeking a romantic and private getaway, Marysville Garden Cottages combines old world charm with modern country comfort. Beautifully constructed open plan design incorporating modern features and amenities results in a melding of space and luxury, a sweet hideaway with ensuite bathrooms to suit a variety of tastes. Choose from cottages with showers only, romantic claw foot slipper baths, luxurious deep baths or double spa baths. Cottage features vary slightly with window seats, stained glass windows and furnishings, but all have rich toned timber floors, a kitchenette with microwave, and wonderfully comfortable beds and bedding.
The forest regeneration of the region is nothing short of spectacular, and the wildflowers are amazing. Some local trails are suitable for cycling or horseriding, but there are plenty of walking tracks. Don't miss the stunning Steavenson Falls cascading over 80 metres to a rockpool below, it's especially breathtaking after heavy rains. Explore the Cathedral Range with its high craggy peaks and sandstone cliffs sweeping up from the Acheron Valley. Marysville is the gateway to Lake Mountain where you can see the forest wrapped in winter white wonder after snow, perfect for tobogganing or skiing. Take a drive up the Black Spur to the Inn for a tankard of ale, the drive is stunning through towering forests of Mountain Ash and Eucalypts, and thick below with giant fern fronds as you wind ever deeper into the temperate rainforest where the wild deer roam.

All cottages feature a cosy gas log fire, quality linen, TV, kitchenette, tea & coffee supplies, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, microwave, crockery, cutlery. There is no oven or cooktop. There are separate showers, hair dryer, ironing facilities, and private veranda overlooking the garden.
Winter & Spring Cottages
With a queen size bed, the lovely muted tones of both Winter and Spring Cottages blend perfectly with warm timber floors and natural wicker. Enjoy a cup of tea in front of the cosy gas log fire or a long languid soak in the claw foot slipper bath, full of perfumed bubbles.
Summer & Autumn Cottages
Both cottages have the comfort of queen size beds, and ensuites with showers only. They are equipped with day beds for extra guests, and like the other cottages have lovely window seats to cosy up on. Summer Cottage also has wheelchair access.
Harvest & Orchard Cottages
The Harvest and Orchard Cottages queen size bedrooms are offset beautifully with a stained glass window casting a variety of hues across the bed. The ensuites are stunning with deep luxury baths to soak away your cares in, and plush leather couches to curl up on in fron of the gas fireplace.
Country & Botanica Cottages
Both cottages are the ultimate comfort with king size beds and the ultimate luxurious double spa baths. Deep leather sofas are inviting, and the dark timber furniture adds to the overall welcoming atmosphere of these private havens.

What a fantastic weekend! Accommodation is superb, attention to detail is obvious in all the fittings and fixtures. We added the romance package to our stay and it was worth every cent, we didn't have to think about any food and our hamper was gorgeous. Anthony and Tracy have to be congratulated for how comfortable and well set out the cottage was and the gardens topped off the relaxing feeling we were after. Thankyou so much for making our 20th wedding anniversary and my birthday a perfect weekend.

I recently stayed at Marysville Garden Cottages in the Winter Cottage. What a charming place, with such thoughtful touches like complimentary port, chocolates and biscuits as well as a really great bath and tasteful decor. The owners Anthony and Tracey were friendly and helpful and the whole feel of the place made for a relaxing ski trip! Coming back again soon.

We have just spent a night in the Autumn Cottage during the snow season and what a delight to come back from a snowstorm on Lake mountain to the warmth and comfort of this stunning cottage, well located in Marysville. It is spotlessly clean, has a large well designed bathroom with double shower, very comfy king size bed as well as extra daybed which converts to a single bed, and well equipped kitchen with microwave and fridge....and the gas fireplace created a cosy ambience. The flat screen TV is very well camouflaged behind a large glass mirror...(took us a while to figure it out...) We would highly recommend a visit and look forward to returning.
