There's so much to experience in the amazing Barossa Valley, with over 80 wineries and gourmet food producers in the region. Take a balloon flight over vineyards, tour the wineries in a vintage 1935 Auburn automobile, or a Daimler. Throughout the region you'll find art galleries, studios and craft outlets and historic walking trails. Galleries and studios offer the chance to visit local artisans at work, partake in workshops or purchase a special memento of your visit to the Barossa. Hire a bike and explore the area, sample the great restaurants and drop into Maggie Beer's Farm Shop for some gourmet delights.

Stonewell Cottages offers two Haven Spa Retreats, Hideaway Cottage and Cupid's Cottage all overlooking the lake. Each immaculate accommodation suite is surrounded by vineyard and cottage gardens and all have cosy wood fires, two person spa baths and lake views. Each has a new stylish timber kitchen with black granite benchtop, Miele appliances, electric hot plates (no oven in Haven Spa Retreats), dishwasher, full size fridge/freezer, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, electric frypan, toaster, kettle, crockery, cutlery, glassware and cookware. The cottages also have a washer/dryer.
Cupids Cottage
Nestled under native trees, surrounded by vineyards and overlooking the lake, Cupid's Cottage is utterly secluded and beautifully presented. This one bedroom sandstone cottage has a king size pillow-top bed with crisp white linen, wool quilt and cotton and woollen blankets. A stunning leadlight window adds character above the sunken double spa bath and the french doors. Warm timber ceilings and floors add a golden warmth to this charming cottage. Full kitchen and laundry facilities are provided.
Hideaway Cottage
Right on the water's edge, this two bedroom cottage offers privacy and seclusion and is ideal for a longer stay for one or two couples. With two king bedrooms, the cottage is well equipped and features a full kitchen with oven and a washer/dryer. Enjoy the two person spa bath, cosy wood fire and private outdoor courtyard with gorgeous cottage garden. The stone feature wall fireplace is stunning, a perfect atmosphere for romance. Full kitchen and laundry facilities are provided, and there's a private al fresco dining area with outdoor setting, umbrella and gas BBQ. It also features a separate shower, bathrobes, hairdryer, toiletries, bubble bath and candles, and a separate toilet.
Haven Spa Retreat 1 & 2
The Haven Cottage overlooks the lake, and contains two self contained retreats. Haven Spa Retreat 1 is situated on the western side of the building adjacent to a Shiraz vineyard. Haven Spa Retreat 2 is on the eastern side adjacent to the Cabernet Franc vineyard. Each retreat is identical and has its own private indoor and outdoor facilities including lounge with cosy wood fire, kitchen and private outdoor courtyard. The timber ceilings and floors add a golden warmth to the interior. Each retreat features a spa room with a large oval two person spa bath - perfect for a romantic getaway for one couple. For two couples travelling together, booking both retreats is also an excellent option. A private front verandah with outdoor setting is divided by a solid stone wall between the two retreats. Private al fresco dining area is located at each end of the cottage with outdoor setting, umbrella, gas BBQ, cottage garden and sun lounges. Comfy queen size pillow-top beds with crisp white linen, wool quilt, cotton and woollen blankets ensure a great night's sleep. A separate ensuite and shower contains bathrobes, hairdryer, toiletries, bubble bath and candles.
