Not far away the most famous vineyard soil in Australia - possibly the world - can be found, the renowned terra rossa of Coonawarra. The spectacular World Heritage listed Naracoorte Caves are in this region or you can visit the Fingerpoint Conservation Park - a popular surfing, swimming and diving spot with walking trails and ancient Aboriginal campsites.

The Policeman's Residence

A portable cot and high chair are available on request. There's a fully self-contained kitchen with dishwasher and microwave and a laundry for your convenience. The Post Office Apartment is best suited as a couple's retreat or use all the bedrooms and stay with friends. With its refined furnishings and stylish decor, you'll never want to leave! A large frameless shower in the bathroom, Egyptian cotton bathsheets, fluffy bathrobes, plus a supply of large beach towels ensure optimum comfort for guests. Relax on comfy leather couches in front of the beautiful wood fire. Select a DVD to watch on the plasma TV, listen to your own music on the iPod docking station, or curl up with a blanket and a book or a magazine from the selection provided in your room. Also supplied is a variety of board games. A fully self-contained kitchen features stainless steel appliances, including microwave, dishwasher and oven. A large laundry is provided and outdoor BBQ area with seating.
