Norfolk Island is largely populated by descendants of Pitcairn islanders and the infamous 'Bounty' mutineers, and has a fascinating and quite unique history. From the shipwreck of the Sirius, a flagship of the First Fleet, and its designation as 'Paradise' by Captain Cook, this sub-tropical island became the site of a remote penal settlement for the most hardened of convicts until it was abandoned in 1855, making way for new settlers. Its spectacular natural beauty is breathtaking, with the purest air, towering Norfolk Pines, striking landforms and crystal waters. A volcanic island with sheer granite cliffs that fall away to pristine water teeming with healthy fish, this is truly a wonderful place to visit. Go scuba diving on the nearby reef, take a glass bottom boat or fishing tour, or explore the local flora and fauna, with many species endemic to the island. Take a walk on the Bridle Path along the northern coast from Captain Cook's monument towards Bird and Elephant Islands, with one third of the island protected natural Reserve, you'll be able to experience its natural and enduring beauty. Visit the World Heritage listed penal settlement site, and the beautiful St Barnabas Chapel. You can explore the island by horseback, enjoy a bush billy tea, and take a swim in the crystal clear turquoise waters of Emily Bay. There are ghost tours, a theatre production inspired by the Mutiny on the Bounty, and museums to visit.

A late model Fiat 500 convertible car is provided for your use, and each booking is personalised after booking has been made with a choice of an in-house Swedish relaxation massage, personal training, nine holes of golf, local tours or dining options. All apartments are serviced daily, a manager is on call, and there are free airport transfers. With private courtyards and views of Norfolk Pines and lush tropical plants, you can completely relax in a tranquil environment, punctuated by calls of native birds as you enjoy a glass of wine on the timber deck.
Luxury Apartments 1 & 2
The floor space measures 118m2 in each of these apartments. Both have super king beds, sleeping a maximum of 2 people. The bathroom has a spa bath, double shower head, double basins and hairdryer. The fully self contained kitchen has everything you require, with a dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine. There's a TV with Foxtel Premium, CD/DVD, iPod dock and free WiFi. A mobile phone is provided for your use and the convenience of full laundry facilities.
Deluxe Luxury Apartment
The Deluxe Luxury Apartment is more spacious in all rooms with 150m2 of floor space. A stylish and contemporary kitchen has a larger dining table with four chairs, making it perfect for guests. The super king bed in this apartment can be converted into 2 king single beds upon request. The outdoor area is a private enclosed deck area with outdoor entertaining facilities and a garden towards the back of the property. A charming walkway through the garden leads to a secluded spot with a bench seat where you can simply enjoy the gardens. The bathroom has a spa bath, double shower head and basins, and a hairdryer for your convenience. Laundry facilities are available. There's plenty of entertainment with a TV/Foxtel Premium, CD/DVD, iPod dock and free WiFi. A mobile phone is provided for your use.

What a wonderful place to stay. Truly 5 Star accommodation with no detail missed. We enjoyed the luxury and privacy of apartment number 2. We regularly sat outside to enjoy a drink in our own secluded garden setting. All the fittings were top of the range and the convenience of location and the cute little Fiat 500 made exploring Norfolk Is very easy. The staff of Tash and Sharnie- Marie were helpful, pleasant and unobtrusive. We would highly recommend the Tin Sheds.
