Stone Spa Cottage & Stone Cottage on the lake
These two rustic stone cottages are surrounded by dry stonewalls, landscaped gardens and established trees. A picturesque lake is a lovely surprise. The cottages are self contained with open fireplaces and the tariff includes a self-serve full breakfast which is left for you in the cottage. Re-energise, reinvigorate and revitalise at Tuki with fresh regional food and country air. Taste the difference in the mineral rich spring water that bubbles up from 250 feet below ground.
Miners Cottage
The Miners cottage is a restored heritage weatherboard cottage with 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a spa ensuite, and one bedroom has a KS/split twin, the other contains 2 single beds. It has a cast wood burning heater in the lounge room and is suitable for 2 couples.
Trout Farm
At Tuki you are guaranteed to catch a trout. The trout stocked in the 6 ponds of aerated untainted water are rainbow trout and rods are available to guests.
Restaurant
Open daily between 11am and 6pm, or by arrangement, Tuki restaurant can cater for up to 80 guests. From the pond to the pan, from the paddock to the plate, the menu at Tuki draws upon fresh produce from the farm.
Produce
Fresh trout - kept in the pond, not the fridge - it doesn't get fresher than that! Also available is Tuki smoked lamb sausage, pasture-fed lamb roast and sausages. Tuki sheep are a highland breed so have a distinctive aromatic sweet flavour. Combined with grazing on natural herbage and native pasture, the meat has greater nutritional benefits and imparts a unique flavour. Organic practices are employed so no unnecessary chemicals are used for livestock.

We had a wonderful weekend at Tuki Retreat. We were surprised to be upgraded to a spa cottage, which was lovely. The fireplace is sensational, as is the amazing breakfast provisions provided. Most places provide meagre, or no breakfast provisions any more, but Tuki Retreat is not one of those! The rooms were nicely decorated in a rustic style and very clean. The views from the cottages are sensational.

As part of our yearly conference, we visited Tuki for a spot of trout fishing and dinner. The experience was five star. Robert and Jan were warm, informative and helpful and the food was exceptional! The views are gorgeous, as is the restuarant and fireplace. Strongly recommended.
Sydney
The breath taking views extend as far as the eye can see! We had the most wonderful two nights in a cosy stone cottage with a roaring open fire. Delicious dinners of home grown fresh produce were delivered to our cottage and one night the hosts cooked up the trout we caught earlier that day! Tuki is perfect place to escape to and I strongly recommend it for a relaxing retreat away from the everyday. The peacefulness, facilities and service surpassed our expectations and we hope to go back again soon!
