The Woolrich Woods are mature and secret. There are 5 acres to explore...a huge weeping beech overhangs a small dell where lyrebirds wander through a gully below the property. Go deeper to where the giant American tulip tree soars skyward at the end of a narrow path near the gazebo. Wander through a forest of rhododendrons, their blossoms only visible from above, or enjoy the magic of the Enchanted Woods and the lofty Faraway Tree, all misty on a winter morning.

Woolrich Cottage
Built in the 1920s, the cottage's Art Deco features have been retained and restored to create this elegant accommodation. Fine furniture complements the period architectural features such as the Art Deco leadlight windows.
The cottage has two bedrooms with large ensuites, so two couples can enjoy equal luxury as well as an indoor, four person Jacuzzi hot tub under a glass skylight. An open fire makes the lounge room cosy, and a bay window frames the gorgeous garden outside. French doors open up onto a deck with facilities for alfresco dining where you can appreciate garden and mountain views.
Garden Retreat
Imagine yourself drinking champagne by candlelight in front of an open wood fire; or enjoying a summer twilight on the balcony sipping chilled wine with the sounds of nature all around you. Bordering on Cloudehill Gardens, the self-contained Garden Retreat with its own private entrance is part of the main house overlooking the Woolrich Woodlands. Walk down the steps next to your retreat and open the gate to Cloudehill Gardens or go the other way into the Woolrich Woodlands with its meandering paths, lyrebirds, azalea maze and the dell.
In French Provence style, the Garden Retreat is perfect for one couple with its king-size bed and double spa (separate shower). Miele appliances make life easy in the kitchen, and leadlight windows add to the charm of this cosy retreat. TV with Foxtel, DVD and a lovely open wood fire in the delightful lounge room set the scene for a memorable experience.

This was our second stay at woolrich and it was as lovely as the first. Stunning property with divine gardens, all beautifully kept. The breakfast provisions were amazing and of the highest quality. We had a wonderful and relaxing time.

Woolrich is the best place I've stayed in the Dandenong's. Spa was fantastic, gardens are amazing and the whole atmosphere of Woolrich is peaceful and relaxing. Thanks Mary for a great getaway. We will definitely be back and soon.
